The Stow a way bed is a wooden platform that can be folded and stored in a closet or garage when not in use. You can stand it up on its side and put it up against a wall or lay it down if that helps you stow it.


The Stowaway bed is easy to setup and take down. The fact that it only weighs 38 pounds in twin and 46 pounds in full size, makes the Stow Away bed easily to maneuver. Roll your futon mattress up when you are down and store it next to the frame until you need it again.

Solid Wood Folding Bed Frame

Pros: KD Frames = non-toxic wood; smooth finish on all edges; both solid wood + solid engineering

Cons: The "how to" instructions could do with some better illustrations. Actual photos would be helpful. I did re-do one of the connections three times before I finally understood the correct way.

Phenomenal! Far better than I'd imagined / hoped. From the engineering to functionality to finishing edges, this is truly a well made solid wood bed frame. It is heavier than I'd expected, but worth the weight to know I'm putting out a very nice "extra" bed for company. In my case, I needed a solid frame to raise my nearly 80-yr-young mother's double air-mattress so that she can easily get into & out of bed when visiting. This is a perfect solution, and beautifully made. I also wanted it to easily fit under my bed for storage—again a perfect solution. Thank you for your quality!

Absolute Comfort

Pros: Way too comfortable you dont want to get out.

Bought this bed for my daughters extra bedroom for when I visit her. I cant be any happier. This bed is so comfortable, you just sink in and the mattress conforms to your body. Just perfect. O

Sturdy

Pros: Sturdy, quiet

Cons: A little heavy.

The bed is very sturdy, relatively easy to assemble, having a leather mallet to tap it together helped. With a thick foam mattress it does not squeak at all so far. Compared to metal folding beds it is heavier and doesnt fold up as compactly but most metal frames have negative reviews about the legs bending, etc. I expect this to be very durable over the long run.

Folding Full Frame

Pros: Sturdy, sustainable, simple

When I began looking for a bed frame, I was looking for sturdiness in a product that was made domestically, from natural materials, and aesthetically and simply designed.
