A: When it is in the up position the wheels lock. However, if you have a polished wood floor the wheels may slide. It is not a common occurrence. We sell wheel grips to prevent that.

The main reason I have not give 5 stars is that I have not use the trundle part of the bed. However so far I do think it is a good product. It did take a little longer then I thought it would. The other problem is not very good communications on delivery etc. However I ended up using the live chat on the home page and that was a big help.

Heavy Duty Adult Pop up Trundle Bed
We had one of these beds before that we had purchased about 30 years ago. Got rid of the old one when we moved. Then we decided we wanted one again. This was exactly the same in terms of product but appears to be better made - sturdier - than the one we had before. Also, the mechanism for the pop up trundle seems to be improved. We love this bed because it is so versatile. In it is “together” mode, it is a day bed/twin bed for company. When the trundle is pulled out and popped up it can be two twin beds or pushed together a king size bed. We have had people up to (and probably over…) the 250 pound limit with no problem. And everyone always says it is comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Contacted Customer Support via email and they were courteous and asked several question on identifying the issue and how the problem can be resolved. After a few emails, they reordered the top bed and explained it will be a slightly different version that was sent previously. I had doubts however after receiving the replacement, it needed assembly but the quality seems to be sufficient for heavy duty. Had the bed for about 1 month now, with very limited use but top bed and pop-up seems to be holding well. If this changes over time will provide a further update.

We wanted a sturdy day bed with trundle. We found many online but they all seemed flimsy. When we saw the 400 lb rating each for the bed and the trundle, we knew it was what we wanted. We'll see how it holds up, but it certainly seems very sturdy. Our only complaint is the price.

Trundle Bed Set
This trundle bed is perfect for our small space for guests. The bed was delivered in a timely manner, was easy to assemble and very comfortable. I ordered this when another option by another company was repeatedly delayed. I called foldingbed.net to check on delivery to make sure I would get it in time for our company. Great High Rise Trundle!
Just as advertised- well constructed & easy to put together. Pop up slides out and pops up easily. Came in two packages on different days. I was notified in advance when the pop up was coming as that was the heavier of the packages and we needed to be home.

Day bed arrived and I assembled in about 30 minutes while hubby mowed lawn. Trundle arrived soon after preassembled. The tough part was the great packaging. Everything I expected and the quality is awesome. You get what you pay for.

perfect fit for our needs to provide extra sleeping options for guests at the cabin. very easy to put together and sturdy which is important for larger guests! I ended up putting a 10 inch mattress on top and the 8 inch for the pop-up. it worked great!

Pop Up Trundle Set
We bought the trundle set and two 8" twin mattresses to go with it. It seems very comfortable with us just testing it out but it is for our guest room so it may be a while before someone spends a full night on it. We also purchased a wood headboard which takes the place of one end of the metal frame (took off the metal frame and attached a headboard). We did NOT need the headboard brackets advertised to go along with the set so we returned them. A regular headboard screwed onto the metal platform just fine (we did drill different holes in the wooden headboard to match the metal bed height). Customer service was very helpful with returning the bracket sets and the full amount was returned to my card.

Pros: Uses regular twin mattresses, rolls out and pops up fairly easily.

Pop Up Trundle Bed

We LOVE the daybed with pop up trundle! Pop up trundles are impossible to find these days, not sure why. It is perfect for our guests as we have small guest rooms and the daybed takes up much less space than a queen bed. With the pop up trundle, you can make a nice king size bed for an adult couple when they visit. It worked beautifully for our daughter & son-in-law recently. There are so many different styles of daybeds with pull out trundles, but none of the trundles pop up. We were super relieved to find this one! We were a little concerned that there was no frame, but once you put on the bedding with some decorative pillows, you do not need one!

Twin to King pop up trundle bed
Cons: I wish there was a way to hook or connect the two twin bed frames to each other when set up/used as a king bed
Bed arrived in a timely manner, was easy to assemble. Mattresses we chose are good. Worked perfectly for our needs, sometimes just a single twin bed is needed (so other bed tucked away underneath), sometimes 2 separate twins are needed and also can set up as a king bed when needed too!

Concept and just frame are great. Metal and wire construction are just that so bed does give. Love that I don't need a headboard. Don't love that mattresses don't firmly fit into frame(s).
