The sleeping platform is made by folding down the front panel onto felt covered extension runners. The Creden-ZzZ is made up of several different types of wood and wood products. The Veneer on the coffee finish is Okoume. Okoume (Gaboon) is used heavily in the plywood and veneer industry. Okoume comes from the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. The runners and wheel legs are rubber wood. The back is 1/4 inch plywood, the drawer bottom is 1/8 inch plywood. In some of the larger pieces, a honeycomb core is used. This is a light weight, yet extremely strong and stable material. It is framed in solid wood where fasteners (screws) are used. We use the honeycomb core to make the cabinet easier to lift. Honeycomb does not shrink and swell with humidity and temperature changes. MDF is also used. No particle board is used in the Creden-ZzZ.

Minor Assembly Required. Only the handles need to be put on. The drawer/base assembly is completely assemble with the exception of the decorative handles. The upper cabinet needs to be assembled or attached to the base/drawer assembly and the latches and safety chains need to be attached. There are bolts and threaded inserts and wood screws. Basic tools are needed. These are Phillips head screwdriver, power drill and small bore drill bits, rubber mallet, pliers. Shims may be needed on deep carpet or uneven floors. Two people recommended for lifting parts. For average skilled people with power tools assembly should take less than one hour.

The tri-fold mattress which is used in the Creden-ZzZ is made of 2 inches of memory foam with a 4 inch foam base. This comes vacuum packed in a 13 x 13 x 61 inch carton and will puff back to full size in 24 to 48 hours.
