Pros: The top frame was easy to put together. It is sturdy
It is in a small bedroom. Our teenage grandsons used it last weekend. We appreciate the second bed when needed & the extra space when the bottom bed is slid in.

Twin Extra Long Adult Pop up Trundle Bed Set
Pros: solid, well made frame
At first this set seemed expensive to me, but I shopped around. This is one of the only trundle sets that fits a XL twin mattress on the top bed. My son had a mattress he loved and wanted to reuse, so this was an important feature. And I spent a lot of time shopping for alternatives. The frame is very solid and will last many years. Everyone was impressed at how easily the trundle pops up and locks in place. When the trundle is down, it rolls under the top bed easily, even when the bed is fully made up. My son did this every morning for 2 weeks . The frame arrives in 2 fully assembled pieces and was well wrapped and protected from damage. The frames were very heavy to get in the house and up the stairs. It was definitely a 2 person job.

Twin extra long trundle bed
Cons: None
This trundle bed is wonderful. It is of very quality construction. The trundle is twin size and the main bed is a twin extra long. It has no sides or a back which makes a king size bed accessible from each side when its turned 90 to the wall, perfect for guests and those over 6ft tall. There is a pin that locks the trundle in either the up or down positions. I also bought the insert that goes between the two firm mattresses to make one king size mattress. It is very comfortable and attractive.

Trundle with Pop-up
Pros: Super Sturdy
It was REALLY difficult to find a trundle bed with a pop-up. I have a home office and prefer a day bed option that looks nice in the room and provides flexibility for sleeping arrangements - a couple as well as grandkids. This was the set up I was looking for online and this was the only place I found exactly what I needed. A regular twin and mattress fits just right under the larger twin XL. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy.

Q: What do the bottom of the legs on the Twin XL portion of the set look like? I want to know if "carpet glide" discs can be attached to the bottom of the Twin XL portion of this set so that the bed can be easily moved on carpet. I know that the trundle is on wheels so that part is easy....
A: Yes, most carpet glides will work but if they are too high it may affect the height of the mattress and they will not be at the same level when in the up position.
